We really had a lot of fun building it an having it tested and even had the statisfaction it survived a as an challenge-application on a HACKME-box at an Networking event.
But as time goes by, things start changing and others also build similar applications to other specifications and needs based on the ideas present in phpReview.
The short story is, we declare that the development of phpReview as closed and we thank all who helped us with the coding testing and using it to become the relatively secure application it became in the last version.
The maillist has been closed as of June 11, 2004.
But we do not run and hide, Read The Fine Manual how to reach us
if you have a problem which seems unsolvable by any competent php- or
mysql coder.
Because we still care what happens to phpReview even if we
have stopped the further development of it.
The last fully working version can ofcourse still be dowloaded.
For historical Reasons all older versions and ChangeLogs> are available.
phpReview is a complete Free Reviewing system, entirely written in PHP. Originally made for book-reviews for the NL.Linux.org site it was redesigned to be a general reviewin g system, including voting, reactions and about anything else found in a good reviewing system. It will is licenced GPL.
